Ray Seaver Presented to the AIM Private Equity Class This Week

On Tuesday, February 2, 2016, Raymond Seaver, former Executive Vice President of bswift visited Marquette University and spoke to students in the Private Equity course taught by Jeff Germanotta and Dr. Krause.  Mr. Seaver is a serial entrepreneur, having started, grown and exited three successful technology companies engaged in various aspects of the healthcare industry. He shared his experiences managing and financing rapidly growing, innovative organizations, as well as the dynamics of working with venture capitalists.

Mr. Seaver's 20 years of experience in insurance and benefits include various executive positions. He founded and built several benefits and healthcare companies, including Plaines Health Networks, a PPO, and KeyLink Group, a third party administrator. KeyLink was sold to National Employee Benefits, Inc. (NEBI), and Mr. Seaver was instrumental in the subsequent sale of NEBI to American Whole Health (AWH). 

Mr. Seaver served as President/Chief Operating Officer of American WholeHealth Networks, a leading national alternative health care network firm, after its parent (AWH) acquired NEBI in November 1998. Mr. Seaver's success in growing benefits companies demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the constantly evolving marketplace as well as a client-focused orientation. Mr. Seaver holds a BA and an advanced degree in Ambulatory Health Care Administration from the University of Minnesota.
