AIM Students in the Classes of 2017 and 2018 Learned More About FactSet This Past Week

Two FactSet Consultants Visited the AIM Program This Week

Russell Roeber, Consultant, and Matthew Latarewicz, Consultant, of FactSet’s Chicago office were visitors to the AIM program this week. On Tuesday, October 11th, they met with the new students in the AIM Class of 2018 and introduced them to FactSet – and then on Wednesday they provided the AIM seniors with training on the portfolio and performance analytics aspects of FactSet.

Dr. Krause, AIM program director thanked Russ and Matt for coming to Marquette, “They sessions with the new class was very beneficial. They covered the basics of navigating FactSet, including company research, news, setting up watch lists, adding alerts, monitoring markets, and a gained a basic understanding about how to follow the AIM funds within portfolio analysis.”

Image result for image factset logoHe added, “The session with the seniors covered more advanced topics such as performance attribution, screening, asset allocation, and charting. Kira Irchil, our academic programs specialist, has also been a useful contributor in helping our students become FactSet proficient.”

Special note: we'll also be visiting FactSet in New York City next week when we make our annual NYC pilgrimage during Fall Break.
